i actually found a half-decent option
someone in my class made a custom bot on getsolved.ai and it literally saved me during my econ homework
not perfect, but it breaks stuff down calmly instead of panicking like other bots

i used one “homework helper” app and it tried to explain the Pythagorean theorem using a paragraph from a cooking blog
i'm convinced some of these tools are possessed

i feel like the REAL problem is when they don’t let u ask follow-up questions
like i’m sorry sir, i still don’t understand, explain it again but slower
a good helper needs to let u go back and forth, not just drop an answer and run

the moment an app says “subscribe for detailed explanation” i delete it instantly
i’m here because i’m BROKE
why would i suddenly have premium money 😭
