hot take: it’s not “which is better” but “how cooked is your brain today” 😭
if i want fast simple explanation → chatgpt
if i’m in overthinker mode and wanna see connections/extra sources → gemini
so gemini vs chatgpt for students is more like “simple vs extra” for me

ok but has anyone noticed gemini sometimes talks like a teacher and chatgpt talks more like a tutor??
teacher energy: “in this context, we observe…”
tutor energy: “ok so basically this thing does that thing”
for actual exams i use chatgpt to make mini quizzes, gemini to double-check if the info isn’t totally cooked 💀

@tinybrain_bigloans yesss
also gemini gives me “here are 7 options”
chatgpt gives me “here’s 1 clean answer + explanation”
when finals are close, i don’t want 7 options, i want ONE brain cell that works 😭
so during exam season, chatgpt is my main, gemini is side character

real question tho: gemini vs chatgpt for homework detection 👀
like do y’all feel teachers notice if you use one more than the other?
i feel like chatgpt essays are easier to spot if you don’t edit them, they got that “perfect but dead inside” vibe 💀

@overcaffeinated_ninja honestly if you don’t edit, BOTH are obvious 😂
it’s less “are you using gemini or chatgpt” and more “does this sound like you or like a 40yo academic robot”
whichever you use, you still gotta humanize it or teachers will be like “whose child is this”
