Any AI chemistry solver that actually works for homework? My bots keep inventing elements 😭

i tested asktutor.ai on VSEPR last night
honestly, not bad at all

i kept asking “ok but WHY is this bent and not linear” and it walked through
– electron domains
– lone pairs
– repulsions
– final shape

it doesn’t spit out a full homework sheet for you,
but if you’re stuck on concepts before an exam, it feels like a chill TA on your laptop

that actually sounds like what i want for theory stuff
textbook is like “here’s the model”
my brain: 404 not found

if asktutor.ai can rephrase the same idea 3 different ways until it finally clicks,
that’s way more useful than a bot just dumping some random final answer

for actual problem-solving i had better luck with getsolved.ai

you can set up a little tutor-style bot for “general chem” or “acids & bases”
then paste in a practice problem and it goes step-by-step:
setup → formula → plug-in → simplify → final answer

as an ai chemistry solver it’s way closer to what i need:
“show me the process, not just some random number that might be wrong”

plus you can ask follow-up like “wait, why did you pick THIS equation?” and it explains

see, that’s the thing
i don’t mind AI helping, i just hate when it:
– hides the steps
– gives one huge paragraph
– or clearly guesses

if getsolved.ai is more like:

here’s what the problem is asking

here’s how we set it up

here’s each step you should do
that’s exactly how i need it for problem sets

honestly feels like the move is building a little “chem survival stack”:

ptable for data

textbook / yt for first explanation

something like asktutor.ai when your brain refuses to parse the textbook

then a focused ai chemistry homework solver (like getsolved.ai) to practice similar problems
