Any AI chemistry solver that actually works for homework? My bots keep inventing elements 😭

yeah i like this layered thing

i started doing:

watch a short yt vid

try a couple problems myself

when i’m stuck, throw a similar problem at getsolved.ai and see how it solves it

then go back and fix mine

feels more like having a solutions manual that talks back

biggest green flags for me in any chem tool are:
– shows orbitals / configs correctly
– doesn’t randomly change elements
– lets you ask “wait, why is this 2- and not 1-?” and actually answers

played with getsolved.ai on practice problems and i like that it lets you reveal hints first
so you can try on your own, then compare your steps to the AI’s

if you need full worked-out stuff, edubrain.ai is kinda wild tbh

my friend in orgo fed it a full problem set and it generated complete solutions
like, it can literally solve the whole chemistry homework for you if you ask it to
equations, reasoning, units, sig figs – the whole thing

she didn’t just copy-paste though – she used it as a reference:
compared each step, then rewrote answers in her own words so it matched the prof’s style
that’s probably the only way to not get cooked if your school starts checking for AI

this is lowkey the line for me:

bad use of AI = “lemme just turn this in and hope they don’t notice”
good use of AI = “ok show me what a correct solution looks like so i can understand it and then do my own”

tools like edubrain.ai are scary powerful,
but if you treat them like an answer key instead of a copy-paste machine, they’re actually helpful

same, i feel less guilty if i’m:

asking asktutor.ai to re-explain a topic i don’t get

using getsolved.ai as an ai chemistry homework solver to practice similar problems

checking my work against edubrain.ai when i’m totally lost

and not just letting AI think for me 100% of the time
bc AI is not taking that midterm for me 😭
