any ai note generator that DOESN’T turn my lecture into 3 pages of nonsense???

i asked mine to give “5 ways this concept could show up in exam questions” and it exposed me so hard
my notes were only covering one boring version of the topic

that kind of thing makes you realize how basic your “i understand this” actually is

also pro tip: read your ai-generated notes out loud
if you can’t even say the sentence without stumbling or feeling like it’s not your voice, you won’t remember it in the test either

i usually read a section, then close the laptop and see what i can rewrite from memory
if nothing comes out, back to the ai notes generator and fix the way it’s written

i still keep a tiny “manual” notebook for the scariest stuff
formulas, dates, weird facts
writing them by hand once kinda glues them in my brain

so my routine is:
handwritten mini notebook = core stuff
ai notes = the full movie version

both together >>> just one

tbh i don’t think the problem is the tool, it’s how passive u are when using it
if u just click generate and never look again, ofc u won’t remember anything

but if u argue with it, correct it, ask for more examples, make it remix the same topic a few times… that’s basically active learning, just with a robot friend

ok this actually makes sense
so the move isn’t “let ai take notes so i don’t have to”
it’s more “i make brain dump notes → ai makes them not trash → i still have to READ and use them”

i’ll keep my messy scribbles and just let the ai notes generator be an editor, not my only brain cell 😭
