Using an ai tutor instead of a real tutor… am I gonna regret this?

used an ai tutor app during high school for chemistry and it literally saved my grade
wasn’t even a super fancy one, just something that explained stuff with silly examples

if you’re looking for an ai tutor for high school students, honestly test how it explains:
– does it use real life examples?
– can it re-explain in simpler words?
– does it let you say “nope, still confused”?

if it can’t do that, it’s just a calculator with extra steps 💀

one thing i LOVE about ai homework help & study tools: they don’t get annoyed when you forget everything two days later 😂

i literally go:
“explain this again, pretend i never saw it before”
and it just… does
real tutors be like “we already covered this 🧍‍♂️”

so yeah, if your memory is swiss cheese like mine, an ai tutor online is kind of a blessing

the only time ai tutor failed me was when i was lazy
i gave it a full question and said “solve this” and didn’t even read the steps
quiz time came and i was like… cool, i recognize NOTHING

now my rule:
– i try the problem first
– THEN use the ai tutor app to compare steps
– if our methods are different, i ask “why does yours work?”

it hurts a bit more but i actually pass now 😂

for anyone scared of “getting caught” using an ai tutor:
teachers usually care how you use it

if you use ai homework help & study tools to understand and then write your own stuff, you’re fine
if your entire assignment sounds like a robot, that’s when it gets sus

keep your notes and drafts
if someone asks, you can show you actually learned, not just pasted

alsooo mix tools
sometimes i start with an ai tutor chatbot, then watch a 5-min youtube video, then come back with better questions

the combo of ai tutor + short videos + past exam papers is insane for revision
you don’t have to pick “real tutor OR ai tutor online”
you can just build your own weird mega-tutor out of everything 😎
