ok pls don’t judge me but i’m officially at the point where my brain refuses to write anything longer than 3 sentences 😭

i keep seeing people hype different ai tools for writing assignments, but like… which ones actually help??
i don’t need it to write a whole essay for me (my prof would absolutely catch that lol), i just need something that:

helps structure ideas

fixes my chaotic goblin grammar

maybe explains how to start the intro without crying

someone in my class mentioned edubrain saying it’s good for planning and rewriting stuff in a more “human” way, but idk if that’s true or just vibe marketing

so yeah, if you’ve tried any tools that actually made writing less painful, share your wisdom pls 🙏
my assignment is due in 36 hours and i’m already in panic-at-the-midterm mode

bro i feel this DEEPLY
i stare at a blank google doc for 40 min before writing “the” and needing a break

i tried a couple apps and most of them either rewrite everything like a 50-year-old professor or sound like a robot trying too hard
but edubrain was lowkey decent for outlines??
i’d dump my messy notes and it would turn them into something that doesn’t look written by a sleep-deprived squirrel

same struggle lol
i don’t want a tool to write the whole thing for me, just fix my trash structure
edubrain does this thing where you can ask “ok but how do i connect these two points” and it doesn’t make it weird
not perfect but better than those apps that act like they’re writing a UN speech

ngl i use that stuff mostly for tone fixing
cuz my assignments either sound like a five-year-old or like i’m applying to harvard with a quill pen
edubrain is decent for making things sound normal??

also love that you can say “rewrite but keep my chaos vibes” and it sorta… does

@typing_at_3am omg SAME
every time i write an intro it sounds like i'm introducing a netflix drama
apps that fix tone >> apps that pretend to write for you

i used edubrain for my history essay and it didn’t change my whole style, just made it less cringe
wouldn’t trust it blindly but as an assistant it’s nice ngl
