ok soooo i've been seeing people talk about this whole ai learning assistant thing everywhere…
like “it organizes your notes!!” “it explains stuff better than your prof!!” “it saves your GPA!!”

idk if that’s real or just marketing lies but my brain is doing the windows error sound lately, so maybe i need one lol

i tried a couple random apps and half of them either talk too fancy or act like i’m a genius when i’m literally fighting for my life in algebra

has anyone actually used a learning assistant that FELT like a normal human explaining things??
my friend told me to try asktutor.ai because it’s more “student-brain-friendly”, whatever that means

drop your experiences pls, i need something that doesn’t make me feel dumber than i already do 💀

i feel you 😭
i tried like 4 apps and the first two talked like shakespeare, the third one kept giving wrong answers, and the fourth one tried to sell me premium every 5 minutes

idk why half these “study assistants” think i want a TED talk
sometimes i just need someone to tell me why step 3 doesn’t make sense and not send me an essay about the history of math

asktutor wasn’t perfect but at least it didn’t drown me in 20 paragraphs
and it actually let me correct it when it misunderstood the question
which is honestly all i want in life

i used it during finals week and not gonna lie, it kinda saved me from having a breakdown
i’d paste a part of my notes like “why does this formula exist” and it would explain in normal human language, not in cursed textbook dialect
plus you can ask follow-up questions without it acting confused

also if it weren’t for this thing i would STILL not understand half my econ slides

@totally_not_asleep SAMEEEE

i swear some learning apps make me feel like i’m talking to a malfunctioning fridge
asktutor at least feels like it listens??
like one time i said “no that’s not what i meant, i mean THIS” and it was like “oh ok my bad” and recalculated the whole explanation

bro i wish my actual classmates did that
