WHY does every study app either overhype itself or put me to sleep 😭

i use it mostly for rewriting my messy notes into something i can actually read
i type like a goblin during lectures so having a tool that turns that chaos into clear points is kinda heroic

doesn’t hurt that i can ask “why does this matter” and it gives context instead of just repeating the same sentence louder
school apps NEVER do that
they just yell the definition at you like that helps

not me coming here expecting to say it sucks, but honestly? it’s pretty decent
i used asktutor for chem and it didn’t treat me like a genius OR an idiot
just like a regular student who forgot everything from last semester 😭

also i love that you can ask the same thing five different ways and it never gets mad
my patience would’ve run out instantly lol

ok WAIT this actually sounds promising??

i thought “ai learning assistant” was just another overhyped buzzword but now i’m kinda tempted
especially if it actually explains stuff without giving me a literature essay every time

i’ll try asktutor.ai tonight when i start crying over my pre-calc homework
if it works, i’ll come back and bless you all with a review
if not… i’ll just scream into the void again 😌

lowkey the only reason i passed last midterms is cuz of this ai learning assistant app i was using 😭
not even joking, it was like having a 24/7 tutor who doesn’t get tired of my “wait, explain again?”
it’s way less scary to spam questions at an ai powered learning assistant than at an actual human who has 30 other students

@astro_latte same, the best thing for me is when the ai learning assistant for students actually remembers context
like i can say “ok that formula from yesterday, explain it again but with a different example”
and it doesn’t go back to square one or give me a TED talk, it just builds on what we already talked about
that’s when it really feels like a real study buddy, not just a fancy calculator
