had a friend flagged by a school detector and she DOESN’T EVEN USE AI 😭
teacher literally said “this sounds too advanced for you” which is CRAZY btw
that’s the danger when people forget that ai detectors for essays are not perfectly accurate
they’re built around some “average student writing” idea that does NOT fit everyone

so basically the more unhinged the essay, the safer 💀
perfect structure: “are ai detectors accurate?” → “yep, 100% robot”
slightly chaotic text with 3 mini meltdowns and a weird cat example: “ah yes, authentic human suffering” 😂

ngl i get why schools WANT them
but if you ask “are ai detectors reliable for schools?”, i’d say only if teachers use their brain too
check drafts, ask questions, look at past work
don’t just stare at “92% AI” like it’s a divine message from the cloud ☁️

@wifi_gone_brain_gone fr
i sent my essay to one of those “free ai detection tools” just to see
it said “this text is likely human but could contain ai assistance”
LIKE THANKS KING THAT’S LITERALLY ANY TEXT EVER 💀
peak accuracy

my personal rule now:
– ai detectors for essays = red flag, not final verdict
– if i ever get flagged, i’ll show drafts, notes, google docs history, everything
cuz if we already know ai writing detectors aren’t fully accurate, the best defense is “here’s proof i actually suffered through this myself” 😭
