Is homework help ai actually okay to use or will profs fry me for it?

has anyone tried combo-ing tools?
like i paste the question into https://getsolved.ai
just to see a quick path, then i ask chatgpt to explain the same steps in dumb language
kinda feels like having two slightly different tutors arguing over what’s happening, and my brain picks the version that hurts less 😂

first i struggle alone for 10–15 mins, then if i’m completely lost i throw it into a homework help ai
otherwise i’ll just start using it as a reflex
honestly the “struggle first, ai later” rule made me remember way more stuff for tests

small psa: even if the site is “ai help with homework free”, you’re still responsible for the final answer 😭
i had an assignment where the bot messed up units and my teacher wrote “never trust ai blindly” all over my paper
now i always check: does the answer actually make sense, or does it just sound smart

i like how this thread turned into “ai rehab group” 😂
but for real, homework help ai is kinda like a calculator
if you know what you’re doing, it speeds things up
if you don’t, you’ll just press buttons and pray

last thing: keep receipts
screenshots, rough notes, drafts in google docs
if a prof ever goes “this looks like ai”, you can show the whole process from confused scribbles to finished answer
cuz we all know these detectors aren’t perfect, so your best defence is “look, i actually suffered through this myself” 😭
